Description

DUYAR OS&Y Flanged Gate Valve Series (UL Listed & FM Approved). High-performance rising stem gate valves engineered for sectional isolation in fire protection water supply systems. Features an EPDM-encapsulated ductile iron wedge for bubble-tight sealing and a full-port design that eliminates flow obstruction and reduces pressure loss. The external rising stem offers quick visual identification of valve position and seamlessly integrates with supervisory switches for panel monitoring. Key Features: • Complete Size Range: Available from 2.5" (DN65) up to 12" (DN300) across 175 PSI and 300 PSI models. • Low Pressure Loss: Straight-through flow design offers lower hydraulic resistance than butterfly valves. • Visual & Electrical Tracking: Rising stem allows instant visual checking and mounting of the DOSY-2 supervisory switch for remote alarm monitoring. • Corrosion Resistant: Epoxy-coated interior/exterior ductile iron body with an EPDM-coated wedge and 304 stainless steel stem.
