ASPHALT Rolling Thin-Film Oven by Normalab in Iraq

Description

NORMALAB RTFOT Classic Rolling Thin-Film Oven The NORMALAB RTFOT Classic is a laboratory oven designed to evaluate the effect of heat and air on a moving film of asphalt binder. It simulates the short-term ageing of bitumen during mixing and paving, enabling laboratories to assess changes in the material’s physical properties after controlled heating and air exposure. Specifications: • Brand: NORMALAB • Model: RTFOT Classic • Standards: ASTM D2872 and ISO EN 12607 • Operating temperature: 163°C ±0.5°C • Airflow rate: 4,000 ml/min • Sample capacity: Eight glass containers • Carriage diameter: 305 mm • Rotation speed: 15 ±0.2 rpm • Oven type: Double-wall convection oven • Power supply: 230 V, 50 Hz; 115 V version available Applications: • Rolling Thin-Film Oven Test of asphalt binder • RTFOT testing of bitumen according to ASTM D2872 • Short-term ageing simulation of of paving bitumen • Heat and air ageing test for asphalt materials • Testing of road-construction bitumen and asphalt cement • Ageing analysis of polymer-modified bitumen • Preparation of aged asphalt-binder samples for further testing • Evaluation of mass loss and property changes after bitumen ageing • Quality control in asphalt plants and bitumen laboratories • Use in oil refineries, road-material laboratories, highway research centers and construction testing facilities Please refer to the attached datasheet for detailed specifications. We can supply customers throughout Iraq and Syria.
